Acually this post is a referance for the following posts concerning some of the traditional prayers of the Catholic Church in showing off the used literature and also the purposes there are in them.
I personally take comfort through the thought, that in all times during the day people all over the world are praying and meditating, contemplating. etc. It gives me a feeling of fellowship, of belonging to a community I can log in even without a computer, without 'going' anywhere. Moslems can be seen all over, going on their knees, making ritual washings and submitting their lives to Allah. They give a continual public example and witness through their dedication and submission to something more important than the daily routines of just making a living and getting eaten up by sorrows. The Catholic Church also has certain prayer times and in using them, exercising them, you get access to a spiritual community all over the world ... well ... there are a lot of benefits - for you and all the people around you. Prayer is THE source for inspiration.
So maybe ... try to:
